Free-agent market is reduced to leftovers

The free-agent grab bag is nearly empty, which has put some teams in crisis mode -- if you still have a gaping hole on the roster, it will be difficult to fill before the end of the summer. What's more, some of the teams with the biggest holes consider themselves postseason material.

Rockets point guard. Anyone who watched the Magic last season knows that Tyronn Lue and Reece Gaines, the two point guards Houston acquired in the Tracy McGrady deal, are not going to be the answer. The Rockets missed out on Brent Barry and could not complete a trade for Eric Snow. That means they're likely to go with a third-tier free agent such as Mike James or Damon Jones.
